In honor of the 20th Anniversary of our favorite home next door, Ruthie and DisneyChris present a brief background on the origins on Disney's California Adventure, followed by a complete walk-through tour of the park as it was at the time of it's grand opening back in February of 2001. As they revisit all the many shops, restaurants and original DCA attractions, they discuss the unusual nature of the park before it would undergo major renovations in the years that followed.

This month DisneyChris and Ruthie are joined by special guest Micheal Renfrow of ConciEars Vacation Planners. Together they bring you a top 10 list of the the best snack foods and treats found in Disneyland. Chris then reads several listener comments and answers questions. Following this they bring you another round of the hypothetical thought experiment we call "The Disney Would You Rather" and close out the show with a special Valentine's Day segment, where they discuss the most romantic locations in Disneyland.

Jiminy Criskets Episode 133 - The Magical Music of Walt Disney Volume 1 - It All Started with a Mouse 1928-1951

This is the first of five very special bonus music episodes that we at Jiminy Crickets are delighted to present to you throughout 2021. This special series will be called "The Magical Music of Walt Disney" and will span the decades to bring you the 150 most iconic Disney tines of all time. Dateline Jiminy Crickets - January 2021

After a two month hiatus, Dateline Jiminy Crickets returns for our first show of 2021. DisneyChris and Ruthie begin by honoring five Hollywood legends affiliated with the Walt Disney organization that we have lost over the past seven months. They then share their first Top 10 rankings for 2001, a list full of firsts. For a special Encyclopedia segment they discuss a California classic and Ruthie shares her initial thoughts on the Disney/Pixar animated feature "Soul." The show concludes as she and Chris discuss a little more of this and that.

This episode continues our tribute to Disney Legend and child star of six classic live-action Walt Disney films, Hayley Mills. Along with returning special guest Brian Crawford, Ruthie and Chris go through the remainder of Mills' Disney films - "The Moon Spinners," (1964) and "That Darn Cat." (1965) Then they discuss her career after her initial six years at Disney, including her other films, theatrical performances and television appearances including the Parent Trap made for TV sequels and the sitcom "Good Morning Miss Bliss." The episode concludes with Brian, Ruthie and Chris ranking their favorite Haley Mills Disney films, favorite songs and favorite co-stars, mixed in with many personal stories and anecdotes about their personal connections to this amazing star.
