Jiminy Crickets Episode 128 - A Salute to Hayley Mills Part 2

 

This episode continues our tribute to Disney Legend and child star of six classic live-action Walt Disney films, Hayley Mills. Along with returning special guest Brian Crawford, Ruthie and Chris go through the remainder of Mills' Disney films - "The Moon Spinners," (1964) and "That Darn Cat." (1965) Then they discuss her career after her initial six years at Disney, including her other films, theatrical performances and television appearances including the Parent Trap made for TV sequels and the sitcom "Good Morning Miss Bliss." The episode concludes with Brian, Ruthie and Chris ranking their favorite Haley Mills Disney films, favorite songs and favorite co-stars, mixed in with many personal stories and anecdotes about their personal connections to this amazing star.

Dateline Jiminy Crickets - October 2020

For their premiere performance, they reenact the classic Disney attraction, The Haunted Mansion, with diabolic dialogue, macabre music, eerie imagery and scary sound effects.

Jiminy Crickets Episode 126 - Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland

All aboard the mine train! This episode DisneyChris and Ruthie pay tribute to one of the greatest extinct Disney theme park attractions of all time, the Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland. In celebration of the 65th anniversary of Walt Disney's 15th full-length animated feature, DisneyChris and his special guest Brain Crawford bring you an extensive look at the true Disney classic. "Lady and the Tramp." As they walk you through the behind-the-scenes development and reconstruct the plot, they pause along the way to share many personal stories and humorous anecdotes, as well as the biographies behind many of the talented artists, musicians and vocal actors who helped create this film. As per usual, music also plays a key role in the show. Chris and Brian play and discuss all the film's songs and share many rare tunes that did not make it to the final cut of the picture. First we explore the original river in Disneyland, including the history of it's many features and attractions.
