Episode 85 - Walt Disney's Babes in Toyland

For their special holiday episode, and final show of 2017, the Jiminy Cricket's gang shares their many thoughts on the 1961 classic Walt Disney live-action holiday time musical fantasy, "Babes in Toyland." In addition to describing the film in detail, the discussion includes comparisons to the many different versions of the story from the early 1900's to the 1990's, the history and origins of the film, and how the film was promoted on both TV and in the Disney parks. Episode 84 - The New Tomorrowland 50th Anniversary

This week we discuss the amazing "New Tomorrowland." which premiered at Disneyland in 1967, making this the 50th anniversary of this incredible leap forward in theme park design. We cover the history that led up to this major refurbishment and re-envisioning of Walt's land of the future, the general  mid century modern aesthetic of this all new land, and the many attractions found therein,  featuring lots of original soundtrack attraction audio and fantastic music.
